Our oval shopper baskets are hand woven in the northern part of Ghana, Bolgatanga, made from elephant grass and natural dyes found abundantly in this region. The basket straps are covered with high quality leather in either tan or black. Similar in functionality to our market basket, the oval shopper is also a very versatile must have item in the home with ample space to fill with fresh produce from the farmers’ market or essentials for a picnic or trip to the beach. The oval shoppers are a different shape to the market basket and slightly larger. A worthwhile investment, your oval shopper basket will be cherished for a lifetime.
