Our family is about to embark on our biggest journey yet. In November, we will be relocating to Accra, Ghana. The girls still have very vivid memories of our last trip to Ghana and they’re very excited to call Ghana home. Kingston has never been, and while I am definitely not looking forward to the plane ride over with a 12 month old, it’s a short pain for long-term gain. I can’t wait to watch him chasing chickens, growing up knowing nothing but outdoor play in nature and simple living. This is such a gift we can give to our children and I can’t wait to hit re-set on our life and let this new journey begin.
One of the most common questions we get asked is which is the most versatile bag out of our top selling Market Basket, Tote Bags and Kalahari Carry Bags? Each one is, of course, beautifully constructed, a unique piece of Africa artisan talent! But this makes it awfully hard to choose between them all. All in all, whatever your preference is, you can feel good knowing that your purchase will go towards supporting African artisans in rural communities.
I was so honoured to be asked to speak with Peace from Ausmumpreneur for the TV series: "Women Will Change the World". See our latest blog post to watch the full video.
We are so excited to have been featured on KidStyleFile this week!
‘Beauty’ is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Adinkra Designs handwoven baskets. Whilst we’re all saving their gorgeous products to our ‘must have’ folder on Instagram, Adinkra’s Kelly and Kelvin are busy working directly with artisans in Ghana on new designs and helping the local kids with The Adinkra Project. With the support of basket sales, two youth centres are already up and running in Ghana – how great is that!!

We’ve matched 8 gifts to personalities, including those sort-of friends. But don’t just take our word for it. Put on your thinking cap and and ask yourself who will love any of these great housewarming gifts.
Hubby and I don't get out much these days, with three kids under 6, date nights are (sadly) far and few between, but when we saw the preview for Marvel's latest rendition, Black Panther, being the Marvel nerds that we are, we knew we had to lock in a babysitter quick smart! So last night off we went to watch a movie for the first time in about a year!
Here is what we thought of it!
